New Bible Reading Schedule

So a lot of people have asked me about what you’re supposed to do with God’s word. I know that this sounds a bit silly, however its a good question. The Bible can seem a bit daunting, I mean I remember after I became a christian, picking it up and saying “Ok now what?” There are so many places to start! So I have looked around and found some great reading plans. My hope is that as we wrap up the summer and send off our graduates and bring up the new middle schoolers, that we can all commit to this 90 day New Testament reading schedule. I want it to go from September through November! We are all going to read the entire NT together! I am really excited about this and I want to get as many folks involved as possible, so the countdown is on and I will post the schedule soon, so get ready!

Well the LIFE conference has come and gone. The Lord did some amazing stuff, and really spoke to us as a group and individually as well! We serve an amazing God. On the heels of LIFE we at BRAC have decided to Host a spiritual unity revival that will be taking place July 19th-23rd! Our hope is to really feed on what God was doing at LIFE and attempt to bring that fire into a place that we feel is primed to ingnite in the spirit! We want to ask that everyone that hears about this will at least commit to Pray. As a body we are called to pray and intercede for one another, so we are asking that even if there is no chance you can come worship with us, please pray!

Revival times: Mon Tues Thurs Fri: Starts at 7:00pm

Wen- Dinner at 6:00pm, with service to follow!

Starting Wednesday August 12, we’ll be meeting Wednesdays from 6:45-8:30pm for INVERT.Â Invert is a place where you can come, hang out with friends, have fun, worship together, and hear a message from the Bible.Â We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

I hope I get some feedback on this. Well, i just want to ask everyone from your point of view, what would you guys like to see Invert get involved with? I am not talking about having more FNL’s or more overnighters, but more like what kind of ministry or service do you have a heart for? I ask because I want us to be about Kingdom work, and I feel that at the heart of Kingdom work is to serve! So lets hear it “What do YOU want to do!”

Paintball Trip

March 21, we’ll head to Paintball Quest in McCalla for a day of fun and pain. If you plan on coming or are bringing a friend, please let us know. You’ll need to download and print both a Medical Release Form and a Paintball Quest Waiver and bring them with you. Pack a lunch and we’ll leave around 9am. We should be back around 5pm. The cost is $15 to get in, $10 for a rental if you need it and if you buy paint there, plan on spending $12 for every 500 paintballs. If you’re bringing your own equipment, you’ll need to bring your own paint (it’s cheaper that way).

Impact Winter Retreat

Mark your calendars! January 30 – February 1 is our District Youth Winter Retreat: IMPACT! Impact is a retreat with an emphasis on missions.

Impact is held at Poplar Point Camp in Rockford, AL (www.poplarpointcamp.com)
Impact is January 30 â€“ February 1. Registration starts at 6pm. Eat dinner before you come. Check out will be at 11am on Sunday.
The retreat is open to all students in grades 6-12. Churches need to send one same gender leader for every 7 students.
Registration is $55 for students, $45 for leaders. Please register before January 16th, after that it will be $10 more per person.
Our speaker for the weekend is Pastor Erik Pasco. Erik is the youth pastor at Brewster Road Alliance Church in Birmingham, AL.
Our worship leader is Jonathan Maxwell, a gifted musician with a heart to see people connect with the heart of God.
