No INVERT for the Month of July
Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008Everyone and everything needs a break sometimes, even youth ministries. For the month of July, we won’t be meeting on Wednesday nights. Don’t fret! We’ll be back in full swing this August. In the meantime, we’ll be getting together informally once a week or so- contact Pastor Erik for dates/times. We’re still having Immersion on Sunday mornings, so join us then.
Invert this June, “Discussions in God’s Word”
Monday, June 9th, 2008Wednesdays this June, we’re spending the month looking at some challenging passages in the scriptures. Instead of a normal message, we’ll spend half the time in small groups dicussing the passage of the week. Come and join us as we grow and learn together.
Don’t forget we have pictures, videos and more from summer camp on our Southern District Youth group.
We’ll try and post the picture in our Media section as people give them to us.
Invert This Wednesday – Nooma: “Name”
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008Are you comfortable in your own skin? Being a teenager is tough because it seems like the world is trying to tell you who you are. We’re told that we are unique, and then we’re asked to be like every one else. What if we stopped comparing ourselves to others and embrace the way God created us to be?
Invert This Wednesday
Tuesday, May 13th, 2008How much time and energy do we spend wishing things were how they used to be? Maybe we need to learn to embrace our past for what it is, in order to live our lives to the fullest, right here, right now. This week we’ll view the Nooma Video “Today” and discuss how living “in the now” is the best kind of way to follow Christ.
