Our Vision
The vision of Invert Student Ministries is that we can live our lives in such a way that we are in the center of the beautiful collision between heaven and earth. Invert Student Ministries is passionately, obsessively, and undeniably about the upside-down Kingdom of God and bringing it to the world around us.
We have 5 core values: faith, unity, humility, sincerity, and passion.
These are Kingdom values that Jesus built his ministry upon and it is the foundation for everything we do as a student ministry.
Our Mission
“The student ministry of BRAC seeks to bring students to a place where they can understand God’s destiny for their lives: teaching them to minister to their peers, and sending them both locally and globally to make a difference for Jesus Christ.”
We desire to have a student ministry that reflects God’s intended purpose for the Church. If you look in the Bible at Acts 2:42-47, you will find an account of the very first Christ followers – the first “Church.” Looking at this scripture you will find 5 purposes, 5 roles that the Church must fulfill:
1. Evangelism - “And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” – (v. 47)
2. Fellowship - “They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts” – (v. 46)
3. Worship - “praising God” – (v.47)
4. Discipleship - “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching” – (v. 42)
5. Ministry - “Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need” – (v.45)
When we accomplish our mission, we will fulfill the 5 purposes-
“bring students” (leads to) – evangelism, fellowship
“understand God’s destiny for their lives” (leads to) – worship
“teaching them” (leads to) – discipleship
“sending them” (leads to) – ministry
