Rev. David A. Brown (”Pastor David”), Ed.D. has served as the Senior Pastor since August, 2003. He came to Brewster Road Alliance after 7 years as a Christian School Principal, 8 years as Pastor, and 12 years in Central and South America as a missionary. He holds a BA from Fort Wayne Bible College (IN), a MAR from Asbury Theological Seminary (KY), and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida (FL). He loves children and youth, teaches the Bible as he preaches, and enjoys visitation.
His wife Carol is the Children’s Director for the church and is an active help in Pastor David’s entire ministry. The Browns invite many ministries of the church to their home for a “Fellowship†of food and life sharing about Christ monthly. You would be most welcome there.
The Browns have 3 married daughters and five grandchildren who live in other states. All are very active Christian leaders in their home churches. Email Pastor David
Pastor Marco Requena leads our Spanish Services Sundays and weekday small groups. As a Venezuelan lawyer and youth pastor in the Maracay Alliance Church, he felt called to the United States along with his wife “Titina†and children, Marko and Cristina. In November, 2004, Pastor Marco came on staff as Assistant Pastor of Spanish Ministries at Brewster Road Alliance.

Ian Gilchrist serves as Youth Director at Brewster Road Alliance Church. Ian is new to the Birmingham area, he and his wife Amanda moved here July 2009. Ian is a student at Southeastern Bible college in Birmingham. Ian is a Graduate of Grace chapel school of ministry in Leipers Fork, TN. Ian and his wife have a real heart to minister to youth and try to help them understand their Identity in Christ.Â
